This speed test is run and hosted by Giganet for use by our own subscribers.
What data we collect
At the end of a test, the following is recorded:
- Time of testing
- Test results (download and upload speed, ping and jitter)
- Your connection's source IP address on the Giganet network
We do not collect your ISP name, approximate or GPS location, user
agent, browser locale, or any browsing activity. No test log beyond
the values listed above is stored.
How we use the data
Your source IP is matched against your active Giganet account so
that our support team can look up your test history if you contact
us about your connection. Results are used internally to monitor
and improve network performance — for example, spotting towers or
segments that may need attention.
No data collected here is disclosed to third parties.
Your consent
By starting the test, you consent to the terms of this privacy policy.
Data removal
If you'd like your test history removed, contact us with your
account details and we'll action the request.
